The Fairhope Library Foundation wraps up its work with a $200,000 boost to Fairhope Library Capital Campaign

On April 29, 2023 The Fairhope Public Library Foundation (FPLF) announced its contribution of approximately $200,000 to help fund the buildout of Library space on the second floor of the Fairhope Public Library building.  The FPLF contribution will come from its philanthropic fund maintained at the Fairhope/Point Clear Community Foundation, and will be directed to the Fairhope Library Capital Campaign, which is managed by the Friends of the Fairhope Public Library on behalf of the Library to fund the buildout.

The FPLF has supported the Library since the construction of the current Library building in 2007. The buildout of the new space will achieve the goal of having all of the Library building completed for the use of the Library.  With this final contribution to the long-term success of the Library, the FPLF will close the book on its work to provide financial support for the Library, by dissolving and distributing its assets to the Fairhope Library Capital Campaign.

The FPLF is grateful to all of the many generous donors who have contributed to the FPLF over the years, making it possible for the FPLF to provide the support to the Library that has culminated in this substantial gift to help complete the buildout of the Library.  We encourage all of them to continue their support of the Library through the Friends of the Fairhope Public Library.
